    • Encouraging constant review of electrical and mechanical (E&M) system performance
    • Leveraging technology for rejuvenating E&M plants for energy efficiency

  • Assess and consider the implementation of additional strategic and regional waste facilities
  • Provide more recycling bins to support the Municipal Solid Waste charging scheme
  • Assess the impact and success of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund project to provide a centralised platform to consolidate all efforts in food surplus recycling and identify further improvement opportunities
  • Assess the need for an integrate, city-wide waste management plan
  • Consider measures to reduce or discourage the use of one-time disposable products
  • Increase the public’s environmental awareness and participation in city greening activities by providing incentives
Medium Term Initiatives (2021-2025)
  • Enhance recycling infrastructure to promote closed-loop waste management and improve the efficiency of recycling and uptake
